Hawaiian Time is the state of being relaxed about time; we have 30 minutes in between treatments.  Most spas only allow 10 minutes, so the therapists are rushing to turn over the room and get ready for the next client.  With our extra 'Hawaiian Time', the therapists all have some personal time to stretch, do a couple of nice yoga poses, and get themselves pleasantly ready for you.

Ganban Yoku is a warm stone, in this case, granite from India, which, when warmed to 103F gently warms the body.  The result depends on the amount of time spent at that temperature.  If you spend thirty minutes, you will experience a very deep sweat.  This type of sweat contains more precipitates from your body than than a sweat from conventional heat. 

Sweat from far infra red produces a sweat containing more metals, more toxins, and it stimulates the skins production of collagen.  Collagen is a protein in your skin tissues.  This effect leaves your skin feeling very pleasant, smooth, and shiny.

We also provide body wrap treatments on the table.  The heat and steam increases your skins absorbtion of the wrap. 

Our primary use of the Ganban Yoku is as an ideal way of warming the body up for a massage.  A 30 min Ganban Yoku softens the body and prepares you for a deeply relaxing massage. 

We also invite you to jump into our Ocean Massage Salt Pool.  In a warm, 94F to 95F pool, you will be cradled by a therapist, positioned in a sequence of therapeutic positions in a 3D manner only possible in the water, and then, in-between swooshing slow stretches, receive pressure point Shiatsu Therapy.
